Catch Your Breath

Every now and then, you need to CATCH YOUR BREATH because…
Life can be such a rollercoaster, right???

One minute everything is just plain sailing: the sun is shining, people are smiling at you, there is no traffic on the road, that last hot pink dress on sale is actually your size, creative juices are flowing… And then suddenly, you trip in the street and hurt your ankle, you lose your favourite earrings, your best friend dies.

Your find yourself plunged into sadness without warning and noone seems to have any lifebuoys left to throw your way… Looks like you’re in this by yourself!
It’s hard and it’s going to take a while before you feel like you’re back on track.

But that’s the thing!
Deep down you KNOW you will get back on track. Maybe not tomorrow, maybe not next week but soon…
You know there is light at the end of the tunnel…

Amidst all the pain you feel from your muscles tensing up, your stomach tied in a knot and all your emotions swirling in your head and your heart, you will for the world to stop spinning just for a moment so you can catch your breath… Phew…
And as you let yourself relax, you catch a glimpse of the happy enchanted world that is usually yours.
You realise it’s still at your reach and suddenly, you feel lighter.

Not everything is ok, yet, but it will be!
