Ever since I was a little girl, I have always loved blowing soap bubbles… There is something so magical about seeing those extremely delicate baubles float away in the wind and with colourful rainbows shining on the surface!

If I ever see children play with soap and water, you can be sure I’ll join in the fun and sometimes, just overtake the whole operation 🙂

It seems I’m not the only one to still have fun with bubbles as photographer Angela Kelly and her 7 year old son decided to experiment with blowing bubbles on a freezing winter day…

Temperatures reached -9 degrees Celsius but that didn’t deter the pair who soon stood in amazement when they saw what happened to the bubbles…

Some had very intricate designs forming, some started collapsing into weird shapes when the sun approached…

I was so wow-ed when I saw these photos! The bubbles look surreal and even more delicate when seen up close, just like miniature glass baubles.
