Rules for Hanging Art

Everyone knows how to buy a piece of art they like but not everyone knows how to hang it properly once it’s unwrapped at home!

Sometimes it is crooked, sometimes there is too much stuff around it that detracts from its impact and sometimes, it’s not even placed in the right area on the wall.

There are some easy rules you can follow to make the most of your new art purchase instead of just hammering a nail on your wall anywhere and hanging it without thinking 😉

For example, did you know that a painting should occupy around 2/3 to 3/4 of your wall?

Or that it is best centered at eye level?

Or that you can design your whole room by getting inspiration from your piece of art?
