A slim, long stencil that turns any background into a gentle, flowing rhythm. Think soft currents, wind‑blown grasses, or a sea of lines that move your eye across the page. The pattern is made of overlapping, undulating bands—simple enough to layer, rich enough to stand on its own.

Why it’s useful
• Instant texture & motion. Swipe inks, paints, sprays, or texture paste through the stencil to build backgrounds that feel alive, not flat. Works beautifully on art journals, collage pages, mixed‑media panels, greeting cards, even fabric or wood.
• Easy to layer. Because the pattern is open and repeating, you can mask off sections, shift the stencil slightly, or combine it with other marks to get anything from subtle tone‑on‑tone texture to bold, colourful waves.
• Great for mindful mark‑making. The soft curves invite calm, repetitive strokes—perfect when you want the act of creating to feel meditative or soothing.

Practical notes
• Because the pattern is open and continuous, a little paint goes a long way—use thin layers or a dry‑brush approach to avoid bleed and keep the lines crisp.
• Works with lots of mediums: ink pads, sprays, acrylics, pastes, crayons or even pencils for softer effects.

Perfect for:
• Backgrounds for bright, colourful pages or bold, monochrome spreads.
• Underpainting before adding figures, florals, or focal imagery.
• Repeating panels for custom cards, bookmarks, trims or borders.
• Layering with metallic or pearlescent mediums for subtle shimmer in calm or coastal themes.

In short: a quiet but powerful texture tool that brings movement, depth, and a sense of flow to whatever you’re making—no matter how bold or how delicate your colour choices are.
