Step-by-step mixed media tutorial Mimi Bondi Bloom ST5

Due to a YouTube glitch, I have re-edited this earlier video of mine and re-releasing it…

In today’s mixed media tutorial, I am playing with deli paper, new hand carved stamps and a stencil I hardly ever use, which turns out great here.

Never thought funky blooms would come out of all that!

Follow me along as I break down every single step for you, I know you can do this too 🙂

Mimi.

Watch the process as I create happiness in my art journal 😉

My daughter sent me your website. I love it and did the above “bloom”. Since I am fairly new at this it lacked in places but I learned a lot and loved the process. Will look for your favorite art supplies to help me with the next one. Thank you so much for sharing. Gail

Just found your videos and truly love them! One question — what kind of journal do you use. I really like the size and the fact that it’s not spiral bound.

What a great and colorful piece. I love it. In the video, you used this really wonderful stencil that was like a swirly, doodley mandala. I’ve looked for the supply list for the show and can’t find it. Do you remember the name of the stencil? I must get one 🙂 Thank you Mimi!

Hi, I love all your workshop you do and as a beginner I find it hard to do the same (nearly). Thanks a lot for all the lessons.

Thank you Linda! That is exactly what my book and ecourse will be about… Showing how you can create colourful art with not too many supplies! So many people get confused when they hear ”mixed media” and think they have to do 65 layers with at least 10 mediums 😉 Would love to see what you created x mimi
