In my Be Free Mixed Media Workshop I will show you easy techniques to create a whimsical and colourful art journal page with texture and highlights using a simple bird shape.

I purposefully created this workshop using acrylic paints ONLY so you can start with minimal supplies but if you have more, you can embellish your artwork further!

Now follow me along while I paint and show you how relaxing and fun this is 🙂
This is a full length (from start to finish), step-by-step video tutorial of approx. 40 mins.

Even if you have never painted before, I promise you will be able to create the artwork you see here with just a few simple steps – and you will have learnt a new technique you can apply over and over to create tons of new artworks!

Suggested supplies:

– Art paper for acrylics, stretched canvas, canvas board or art journal
– Acrylic paints in a few contrasting colours of your choice (I used pink, orange, lime green, light turquoise), some black and white.
Optional but recommended: acrylic paint in gold and iridescent orange 🙂

ABOUT MIMI BONDI

I am primarily an ARTIST, totally in love with mixed media!!
