Easy Gel Printing: simple techniques for awesome results!
If you thought that I would be showing you heavy duty techniques today then let me tell you… You can get awesome results with simple and easy gel printing techniques!
There is no need to do a hundred layers, have 50 tubes of paint around you or write down instructions because sometimes, simple is just best š
Here all I am using is a few tubes of acrylic paint and a few stencils… That’s it!
Simple but I really love the gel prints I ended up with in this Studio Time session and I can’t wait to do something with them… But what?
What do you do love doing with your stacks of gel prints?? Let me know with a comment at the bottom of this page š
And if you missed my last video where I do gel printing with Dylusions Ink Sprays and Shimmer Sprays, you can check it out here (it was a lot of fun too!).

List of supplies:
I included links to as many products I could to make it easy for you to find what I used in my video.
Most links are to my store, The Mixed Media Store and whenever possible, I have also included links on Amazon.com
- Brayer. I like the ones with a removable roller for easy cleaning, like this Renoir brayer (or Speedball brayer on Amazon)
- Acrylic paint. Use any paint you have! I love Liquitex Basics for their range of colour and consistency of the paint.
I mostly used Medium Magenta (Amazon), Light Blue Permanent (Amazon), Lime Green (Amazon) and Cadmium Yellow Light Hue (Amazon) - Metallic paint: Pebeo Studio Iridescent colours have always been my favourite! Here I used ‘Green/Blue’ (Find it here on Amazon)
- White cardstock
- Awesome stencils such as the Carabelle Studio For the Love of Layers Stencil (Amazon) and Carabelle Studio Striped Lines Mask (Amazon).
I do not know where the ‘girl’ stencils came from.
