After years of pouring my heart into colour and paint, I found myself craving a new way to express that same energy — something tactile, sensory, and glowing. That’s how my Living Colour Candle Collection came to life, blending art with scent in a way that feels uniquely me — a bright little corner of soy candles Australia style.

A few years ago, I fell in love with candle-making and even launched my first line under the name Just Heaven. It started as a playful way to reignite my creative spark — a little side adventure while I was busy packing art supply orders and running workshops.

A little throwback to my first candle collection, “Just Heaven” — where my love for scent and design first began!

But before long, orders started rolling in… and that’s when I realised I’d accidentally created a third business! As much as I loved it, between the store, my books, and teaching, there just wasn’t enough time (or hands!) to keep it all going.

Still, creativity has a beautiful way of calling you home.

This new collection marks my joyful return — a fusion of everything I love about painting: colour, emotion, and transformation. Each candle is hand-poured in my studio with care, finished with a dusting of tiny gold specks that I brush on by hand — a subtle shimmer of artistic magic that makes every piece unique.

As an artist, I’ve always believed creativity isn’t meant to stay confined to a canvas. It’s a way of seeing and feeling the world — and candle-making became another way to paint, this time with light and scent instead of pigment and brush.

Every fragrance was chosen to tell a story — to evoke a mood, a colour, a memory. Whether it’s the calm of a quiet morning in the studio, the warmth of a comforting moment, or the spark of new inspiration, each scent carries the same spirit that flows through my art. It feels incredibly special to bring that sense of presence and beauty into the world of soy candles Australia lovers.
