I do! Of course it hasn't always been perfect and nothing ever is but, I think that if you try to see the best in people and situations then life can be pretty awesome!
It's so easy to envy others for their stunning double-storey house, their shiny hair or fancy red Ferrari, never considering for a minute how much hard work and dedication got them there. Some can snap their fingers and get whatever they want but most of us have to work for it. And if you work for it then you appreciate it more, right? 😉
When I am asked what I do and I explain that I am an artist, the response usually goes along the lines of ''oh you are so lucky!''.
Lucky?? Hem, no! I have worked hard because I want to live from my passion and being an artist is hard work, it's not ''luck''. I tell them that they too could live their dream (whatever it may be), that they too should be ''truly madly deeply' in love with their life but...
I usually get a ''oh no I couldn't'' because they are afraid of hard work, afraid of leaving their comfort zone, afraid of the unknown... And that's ok, but don't tell me I'm ''lucky'' lol
