Mixed Media Art Folder Tutorial

Following up on my previous video, I got the right size this time to create a mixed media art folder
And by right size, I mean ‘right’ for me as any size will work just fine!

Decorating a large envelope was pretty cool to send to a lucky loved one, or to store ephemera, photos or bits of collage paper (see what vicious circle this can be?!).
And decorating a manilla folder is also a great idea because you then have a beautiful folder to store whatever you like (like boring work documents!).

So, once again, get your gel medium and collage papers out and let’s get sticking 😉
I also decorated the ‘tab’ of the folder with a strip of washi tape. Doesn’t it look pretty?!
I tried to show the beautiful subtle texture and shimmer in a photo below but it’s hard to pick up on camera 😉

Watch the video and make sure to leave me a comment to let me know if you enjoyed it, or got inspired!!

xx mimi bondi

PS: All supplies used apart from the folder! come from The Mixed Media Store
