Lounge Sessions

Sometimes, creating a page is about combining elements together, and making them ”work” together into a unified layout. This is what I do… Let’s play 🙂

I wanted to use my new Art by Marlene stamps so I picked my favourite one to make this art journal page really look great (well, I’m biased!!)…

Part 2 of my ’round stencil on a rectangular page” dilemna 😉 Got to use my Posca pens to add a few marks and now I’m loving this art journal page!

A round stencil was the inspiration for this Lounge Session 11 so, let’s try to fit a round peg in a ‘rectangular’ page, shall we?!!!

Nothing pops more than painting on a black background and adding happy (and maybe a little fluorescent?!) colours right on top… This style of mixed medias makes my heart sing!!

It has been quite a journey to get there but I am FINALLY happy with the results!! It all started in Lounge Session 8 but ended for good in Lounge Session 9 😉

Lounge Session 8 was a struggle! I thought I was getting somewhere with my art journal page and then I got stuck… I tried and tried and still got nowhere lol It just happens sometimes!

Texture is the goal of Lounge Session 7! I love using modeling paste (also called texture paste) to add dimension to my pages and this pretty stencil really made my art journal page pop 🙂

Lucky me, I got another set of stamps from IndigoBlu called ‘Light and Sounds’, aren’t these cool?? Let’s see what they look like stamped in Lounge Session 6! These may just become another favourite of mine…

In Lounge Session 5 I started with a page that was almost finished but… needed something extra. Sometimes you don’t need much to make your page feel complete!
