Mimi I love your work so much!!! I cannot get enough of your videos and I wish I could come to one of your workshops. I am also very excited about your book!! I have the same Liquitex and Pebeo paints that you do and we have many of the same favorite colors. š Just wanted to share the journal page I did after your Studio Time 8 tutorial. Thank you thank you thank you for all your awesomeness!! You have helped me take my art to a whole new place that I have always wanted to go!! http://mysingingheartart.blogspot.com/2015/08/art-journal-page-from-mimi-bondi.html
Dear Pamela, what a joy to wake up to such an inspiring message from you! Thank you so much, it means a lot to me to know that I’m helping you! I’d love to know exactly what you struggled with?
Hi Mimi…I have always wanted to paint super bright colors mixed together and your tutorials have taught me how to do that without making mud š I would love to learn how to get big swirls or circles of colors on a canvas, either in a tutorial or in your book. I would also love to see how you made some of your awesome stamps. They are really cool!!! Could you please share the name of the rubber product your are using? Thank you!!!
Hi Pamela, I’m so glad to hear I could help! Is there a specific style of circles/swirls you mean? One of the chapters of my upcoming book (it will also be a video tutorial) will teach you how to create a painting almost exclusively made of circles using various tools and mediums š The carving material I use for my hand carved stamps is called the Speedball Speedy-Carve. I get a large sheet so it lasts me for a while but you can also use some type of erasers too. I keep getting asked for a tutorial but have not had the chance to get around to it. Take care, mimi
Just watched this video and wanted to let you know how much it inspired me! I love that you used only your fingers and a sponge to make the background. So much beauty, Mimi! Thanks for sharing with us again! -Michelle
