Freedom
One of my absolute favourite things to do is hopping behind the wheel of my camper and embarking on a spontaneous road trip, destination unknown!
My camper is like a cozy home on wheels, equipped with all the essentials: a kitchen, a modest bathroom, a spacious and comfortable bed, and plenty of seating for me, my hubby, and our fur child.
Inside, we can do it all—reading, creating art, watching movies, enjoying meals, engaging in heartfelt conversations, and simply unwinding. But maybe the best part is the sense of utter FREEDOM it gives us. No rules, no schedules—just the joy to do as we please, whenever we please (no parental supervision required!).
Describing this exhilarating feeling in words is a challenge, BUT, I can capture it on canvas! For me, nothing captures freedom and joy quite like a kombi (or any camper van). And of course, I painted this scene by the beach, as it’s where I spend most of my time when I’m on the road.
This kombi is the same model I had years ago, although mine was a sunny shade of yellow (I called it “Little Miss Sunshine”). It was truly the best thing I ever bought. Though I had to part ways with it due to ongoing repairs, since then I’ve always had a camper van—and I can’t imagine life without one!
If you love hitting the open road, or have/had a kombi or camper, this painting will help you remember the feeling of excitement and freedom that comes with it. I hope it will also remind you to just disconnect from your routine every now and then and embrace spontaneity 😉
This original kombi painting was created on high-quality, thick paper (450gsm), with a subtle canvas texture for added depth.
I also incorporated gorgeous shimmering highlights that dance and gleam when the light catches – a delightful surprise that truly shines in person as metallics are impossible to capture on camera!
It is A3 size (297 x 420 mm) with a white border all around, and easily fits into standard frames. It would look fantastic with a sleek black frame and white mat, as showcased in one of the photos, to seamlessly fit into any decor.

Returns Policy:
I want you to love your artwork but you can return if you wish! If so, you have five (5) days from the date of delivery to notify me here. If you paid for shipping, the full amount minus shipping costs will be refunded. If you received free shipping, the full amount minus 20% of the full amount will be refunded.
Please be prepared to return the artwork within three (3) days of notifying me of the return. When possible, use the original packaging or a professional packing company. The return shipment must be via a trackable shipping service.
To receive your refund, the artwork must be returned in the same condition in which it was shipped. A refund will be issued within 24 hours of receipt of the artwork.
