With all the fun art tools you can find these days, it’s quite hard to resist getting lots of stencils, stamps, paints and so on and just let loose!

This is what I felt like doing one day and so I set out to play with texture and colours to create an interesting background, full of detail and vibrancy.

I wanted my girl to belong to the background without blending into it though. I kept her quite simple as more details and texture would have just been too much (sometimes, simplicity is the key, right?).

She is relaxed… lost in her thoughts of what has happened to her so far and what may happen in the future. So many things are popping into her head but she trusts everything will be alright. After all, she has already gone through so many things and has has always come out on top!

She is resourceful and confident about herself. The present feels great and the future looks bright!
