Ideas to transform an old painting

In this video I’ll show you ideas to transform an old painting I created many, many years ago (I would say around 2005-ish).
I still love the colours, it’s perfectly preserved, and on quality paper but when you are an artist…
Your style usually evolves and changes over the years and this didn’t one didn’t feel like me anymore.
So I took very simple steps to make it become ‘me’ again without covering up completely (about that…) 🙂

I hope this will inspire you to look at your old art in a new light and to NEVER throw it away! At least, not until you’ve had a good look at it to make sure it’s really not salvageable.
If like me you have a stack of older artworks layering around then maybe it’s time to give them a new life so let me know below my video has triggered sparks of inspiration in you 😉
