I came across this fun and well explained tutorial by Soulstyle a few days ago and fell in love with it because it is so easy to create (even for someone who has never been very creative!) and gives you fantastic results.

There Tracy has created a canvas with pears on it because she loves that subject but really, you could do anything with a simple shape such as apples, clouds or simple swirls… the sky is the limit!

You could follow her minimalist style if that suits your decor or just make it very colourful and match other items in your room. I know which style I’d go for  😉
